We have quite a wonderful lineup for the whole family and hope you will join us over these six weeks as we grow together in our knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. Foundations classes are held in between services: 10:05-10:50am.
For Adults
Discover Holy Trinity
Considering Holy Trinity as your new church home? Then please join us for this interactive class where you’ll hear our story and we’ll hear yours. We’ll answer questions, explore our core beliefs, look at the book of Mark together and help you get even more connected to this great community. This class is required for membership, the next step for an even richer experience at Holy Trinity. Led by Kendra Dillingham and clergy in Trinity House. Please let Kendra know if you will be attending the class.
Rest in Turbulent Times: Exploring Augustine’s Confessions
Why am I so restless? Why do I experience so much angst and frustration in my daily life? Why are my achievements never enough? What is evil? Why am I drawn to it? Confessions is the story of a man who set out to find the answers, only to realize he’s looking in all the wrong places. At the end of the journey, he finds not just some answers, but he learns to ask the right questions, and most importantly, he discovers grace. He is found by the only One who can truly give rest. Join us on this journey through Confessions as we learn together how to find rest in turbulent times. Also, some of you will be interested to know that Confessions is an influential text in the New City Fellows program; this study is a wonderful opportunity to get a taste of the Fellows’ experience. Though not required, you are encouraged to read along. (Sarah Ruden’s translation recommended, which you can find on amazon.com.) Led by Josh Chatraw in the Courtyard classroom upstairs.
For Students
Real Connection: Social Media and the Gospel
Technology and social media are now a part of our everyday lives keeping us connected, especially with teens. How do we make sure we are approaching social media with a gospel-like lens and know how to use it in a healthy way? This 4-week series, beginning Mar. 15 through Apr. 5, will focus on social media, the effects it can have on our lives and what the gospel says about connection. This Youth Foundations will embark on how we can live Christ-centered lives with the use of technology and social media. Donuts provided! Led by Izzy Minns. Location: Student Ministry room upstairs.
For Kids
Trinity Kids Bible Club
This is your child’s opportunity to get to know and love their Bible through fun games and competition! Location: Kids’ classrooms upstairs.
