Why Community Groups?

Because the church is more than bodies, bucks and buildings or just a meeting on Sunday. The church is a dynamic, living organism of people in relationship with God and with each other in light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re new, just checking us out or a seasoned member, community groups are a great way for you to grow in your relationship with God and build meaningful relationships with others. Our desire is that every member of Holy Trinity Anglican will be in a community group.

What Happens in Community Groups?

As a network of friendships and families, community groups regularly participate in key components intended to move every member toward maturity in faith. Community groups meet regularly to discuss the weekly sermon or some other Bible study or book and explore ways to apply God’s Word to their lives. We share how God is uniquely moving in us as we experience God’s work in our personal lives, our community and our world. We pray for each other, praise God together and creatively reach beyond ourselves into the larger community sharing the love of Christ by meeting needs that are relevant and real. Our desire is that community groups will be places where each member feels deeply known and valued.

How Can I Join a Community Group?

While community groups are committed to this way of life together, they all look a little differently. Groups consist of people from all walks of life and all ages. There are groups that meet all around the city and on different days of the week. Our groups love having new folks join them and there are new groups starting regularly. We encourage you to try out a group!
