Welcome, women of Holy Trinity! There is nothing sweeter than spending time with a vibrant community of women who desire to build each other up and grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. Holy Trinity has several ways for you to do this where you can hear each other’s stories, pray, learn together through Bible teaching and study and participate in social and outreach activities that bolster friendship, discipleship and service. Ready to get plugged in, challenged and changed by the truths of God’s word and each other?

2020-21 Women of the Word (WOW) Bible Studies

We have two great studies in store for you this year: 1 Peter starting Sept. 9 – Nov. 18, followed by Hebrews on Jan. 6 – Mar. 17. Come join us and be challenged to look beyond your current circumstances to a future inheritance and encouraged to place your hope and faith in Christ alone. What important truths for us to lean into as we continue to navigate these uncertain times.

This year we’ll be doing a video program with author and Bible teacher Jen Wilkin. We’ll meet in small groups first – either in person at church or in homes, or on Zoom – and dig into the lesson, share and pray together. Then in the coming week, at your leisure, you’ll listen in to Jen’s video talk. Register now and let us know where you’d prefer to meet and when. The deadline for registration is August 15. We can’t wait to be back together again and grow in the “hope of his calling.” In our ongoing efforts to help keep us all safe and healthy, we will have some protocols in place, like mask wearing, for groups meeting at church and in homes. We’ll get you all the specifics as fall approaches once we know more!

I Peter Video Study by Jen Wilkin, Sep. 9 – Nov. 18

In this 9-session, verse-by verse study of 1 Peter, we will learn that our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. 1 Peter challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance.

Jesus Is Better: A Study in Hebrews by Jen Wilkin, Jan. 6 – Mar. 17

In this 10-session, verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, Jen Wilkin explores how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40).

Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. Explore familiar verses in context of the entire Bible, learning how to place your hope and faith in Christ alone.
