Young people matter to God! We work hard to offer your kids an active program where they can experience transformation. In fact, we have crafted Vision and Mission statements and Values to explain what we’re about, guide our ministry and keep us accountable to God’s calling on us as leaders of the young people of Holy Trinity Anglican.

Programming Changes for 2026-2027

Our Student Ministry exists to raise a generation who know God personally and serve Him faithfully. This fall, we’re expanding our vision with strategic changes.

After prayerful conversations with families and students, we’re introducing two separate Sunday evening gatherings designed for each stage of student ministry. Our 4th–6th graders will gather on Sunday evenings from 5-6:30 in a fun and welcoming environment where preteens can build Christian friendships through biblical teaching, games, and small groups.

Our 7th–12th graders will meet on Sundays from 6:30-8pm, offering students a dedicated space for deeper Bible study, meaningful relationships, and growth in their faith. High school students will also continue to have opportunities to use their gifts by serving and mentoring the younger students in our church.

Here’s what’s changing:

4th–6th graders will:

  • Continue meeting for Youth Group on Sunday evenings from 5:00–6:30 p.m.
  • Participate in age-appropriate teaching, games, and small groups

7th–12th graders will:

  • Meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30–8:00 p.m. through Christmas, with the intention of continuing it into the new year
  • High schoolers are invited to join the Student Leadership Team where they can continue leading and serving the 4th–6th grade students of our church.

We take the safety of our children and youth very seriously, so the process to join the team is a bit more rigorous than other ministry positions in the church. Here are the steps you’ll need to complete in order to serve:

Step 1: Attend the church for at least 6 months.

Step 2: Email Haley Gray at hgray@holytrinityan2.wpenginepowered.com to schedule an in-person interview.

Step 3: Fill out the Trinity Student Application Packet.

Step 4: Complete Holy Trinity’s training for the prevention of child sexual abuse

Step 5: Meet with Haley for a leader on-boarding meeting.

Please pray about the opportunity to serve in these vital ministries.  We can’t do it without people like you!

FOR PARENTS

Safety is a huge priority. Our ministry team members have received training and protocols are in place to protect your teenagers. In addition, all of our leaders are required to undergo a six-month church attendance pre-requisite, thorough application with references, background check and in-person interview.

Beyond that, if you have any questions about the ministry, feel free to browse the website or ask Haley Gray, Student Ministry Coordinator.
