Young people matter to God! We work hard to offer your kids an active program where they can experience transformation. In fact, we have crafted Vision and Mission statements and Values to explain what we’re about, guide our ministry and keep us accountable to God’s calling on us as leaders of the young people of Holy Trinity Anglican.
Vision
our forever goal that energizes us every day
Holy Trinity Student Ministry will be a community of young people who, in response to the abundant grace of God, humbly offer themselves spiritually, intellectually and materially to advancing the gospel and serving Raleigh and beyond.
Mission
our purpose that creates meaning for what we do
Enabling young people to know God personally and serve Him faithfully in the world.
Programming Changes for 2025-2026
Our Student Ministry exists to raise a generation who know God personally and serve Him faithfully. This fall, we’re expanding our vision with strategic changes.
After prayer, staff input, and parent conversations, we’re integrating 4th & 5th graders into regular Student Ministry programming, including Youth Group. We’ve heard their eagerness and families’ desire for church to be a place of Christian community where students can grow in their faith. Meanwhile, high schoolers are stepping up—desiring to serve and lead in ways that reflect their passions and gifts.
Here’s what’s changing:
4th–5th Graders will:
- Be welcome at Sunday night Youth Group
- Have 4th/5th grade specific retreats in the fall & spring
- Be able to continue in Trinity Kids on Sunday mornings
8th Graders can now:
- Attend Sunday night Youth Group, high school programming, or both
High Schoolers will:
- Be allowed to take on leadership roles in Sunday evening small groups for younger students
- Have high-school Bible studies on Sunday mornings in September & January
- Have monthly, informal gatherings for deeper connection
