PARKING INFORMATION

Our downtown facility offers multiple safe and convenient parking options for your visit. Please refer to the map and descriptions below for detailed information on the types of parking available. As our location is in a busy urban area, we encourage all guests to use caution when navigating the surrounding streets. Always use designated crosswalks and sidewalks for your safety. For your convenience, an off-duty Raleigh Police officer is stationed at the Peace Street crossing each Sunday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM to assist pedestrians.

Temporary Parking Changes Due To Construction

As we move forward with our vision and building expansion, we’ll need to temporarily give up some parking on the west side of our property during construction. Fortunately, the impact will be minimal — we’re only losing 45 parking spots — and we’re surrounded by several nearby lots that will more than make up for the difference.

On the map above, you’ll find the locations of these additional parking areas, along with details about what will remain available on church grounds. Blue indicates an available Holy Trinity parking lot, yellow indicates parking available on the weekends and on weekdays after 5pm, and red indicates areas where you should not park. Always refer to posted signage for the most up to date parking information. Please note: the lot directly behind Trinity House will be reserved exclusively for handicap parking.

Where to Park

On-site at Holy Trinity:

  • Adjacent to Trinity House and partially down the alley between the Sanctuary and Trinity House (Augustus Merrimon Way)

Nearby Lots:

  • William Peace University Lot – directly across the street from the Sanctuary
  • State Employee Lots (available weekends and weekdays after 5 PM):
    • Corner of N. Blount and Polk Street
    • At the end of the alley between the Sanctuary and Trinity House, the entrance is on Polk Street
    • Corner of N. Wilmington and E. North Street
    • Surrounding the Burning Coal Theatre (between N. Blount and Person Streets, on Polk Street)

Together, these lots offer hundreds of additional spaces on Sundays and after 5 PM during the week, ensuring that parking remains easy and accessible throughout the construction period.
