TRINITY MEN
In the second century AD, St. Irenaeus wrote, “The glory of God is man fully alive.” We believe that “fully alive” is tied up in finding our identities in Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross and being meaningfully involved in God’s mission to redeem and restore his creation.
We want Holy Trinity Anglican to be a place where men become more fully alive! We seek to be a band of brothers on mission together with each man growing in their knowledge of who they are in Christ and engaged in their roles in God’s mission of restoration in their families, in their work and in their communities.
Monthly Men’s Fellowship
To encourage one another to press on to be the men God has made us to be, we are scheduling gatherings throughout the year. Come for dinner, discussion, testimony and teaching. We are praying that these events will serve as a rallying point that will remind us to what we have been called and to encourage us to finish our races well.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 5-7PM. Bishop Gary Nelson of Australia joined us and shared about the importance of Christian friendship for men.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8, 5-7PM. Why does life always feel like a battle? Join the men of Holy Trinity as John Yates shares from Scripture and Stuart Thompson shares his testimony. Stuart, a Navy veteran, served on an AEGIS cruiser, which nearly sank when it struck a mine during the first Gulf War. Since then he has fought many battles in the corporate world and his story is full of wisdom and humor. Dinner will be served. Location: Courtyard Classroom upstairs. RSVP to let us know you are coming.
