To Whom Shall We Go?
How Trusting Jesus Gives Us Our True Identity, Value, and Purpose
In a world that constantly tells us who we should be, where our worth comes from, and what we should be doing with our lives, it’s easy to feel lost, uncertain, or even inadequate. But Jesus offers something radically different. He offers us an invitation to follow Him, and to trust Him fully.
Join us for an encouraging and truth-filled evening with Courtney Lancaster Brackin as we look closely at the life of Peter. Through the lens of John 6:60–69 and other key scriptures, we’ll discover how Peter’s growing trust in Jesus transformed him from a fisherman into a foundational leader of the early Church. This same trust can reshape our own hearts.
Whether you’re feeling unsteady in your purpose, questioning your worth, or simply hungry for a deeper relationship with Jesus, this talk will point you back to the One who offers eternal life. Like Peter, we’ll ask the question: “To whom shall we go?”—and find that the answer leads us to our true selves only found in Christ.
About Courtney Lancaster Brackin
With over 25 years of ministry and leadership experience, Sea Glass Mission founder Courtney Brackin has dedicated her life to sharing the Gospel and the love of Christ with young people and communities across North Carolina, Uganda, Washington, D.C., and Florida. Her journey began in 1999 as a Staff Intern with Young Life in Raleigh, eventually serving as Area Director until 2018. During that time, she also led youth and children’s ministry at Church of the Apostles (2003–2004) and worked with the International Foundation in Uganda and Washington, D.C. (2004–2005), deepening her heart for global service and cross-cultural ministry.
From 2018 to 2023, Courtney served as Associate Regional Director for Young Life in Southwest Florida, supporting and developing staff and leaders across the region. In 2023, she launched Sea Glass Mission—an initiative born from a passion for restoration, discipleship, and walking alongside others in their transformational faith journeys.
Courtney’s desire is to help others become deeply rooted in the life-giving truth of God’s Word as they navigate a complex and often chaotic world. Her own soul has been shaped by years of studying Scripture, practicing spiritual disciplines, living missionally, and being immersed in the body of Christ. She’s profoundly grateful for the mentors, pastors, and friends who helped shape her path, and she seeks to be that same kind of faithful guide and friend to others.
With a heart for both the curious and the committed, Courtney values being present with those who are questioning and wondering about faith, as well as those eager to be equipped, encouraged, and challenged to share it.
Courtney lives in Naples, FL with her husband Eric. She is thankful to be step-mom to his four children, Ella, Jack, John and Ben. Courtney loves a good novel, cooking & baking, dreaming up her next trip and spending time with family & friends.
