Young Women’s Ministry Fellow
POSITION SUMMARY
The Young Women’s Ministry Fellow at Holy Trinity mentors middle and high school women in the orthodox Christian faith. Through their work, this fellow will walk away with a better understanding of what it means to follow Jesus and lead others in the way of Jesus. This is a part-time position, requiring 10-12 hours per week, that starts at the beginning of the school year (late August, early September) and lasts through the end of the school year. Compensation will be $18-$20/hour depending on experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend Family Ministry team meetings, planning meetings, and participate in personal and professional development opportunities.
- Plan and lead student Bible studies and Sunday evening Youth Group meetings.
- Support youth retreats and cultivate relationships with teenagers.
- Worship with the Holy Trinity community and have roles on Sunday mornings and evenings.
POSITION ATTRIBUTES
- Female undergraduate or graduate student.
- Relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of the needs and concerns of middle and high school females.
- Experience planning events.
- Basic Microsoft Office/technology skills (database, website, spreadsheet, and social media skills highly preferred).
- Satisfactory background check.
- A desire to see kids, students, and families at Holy Trinity and in our community encounter Christ and develop a relationship with Him.
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- Personal transportation is required.
