How do the opening chapters of Genesis speak to life in an age of smartphones, artificial intelligence, social media, and constant connectivity? In this three-part Foundations course, John Yates and Jack Carson will explore Genesis 1–3 to discover God’s design for humanity and how it shapes the way we live in a rapidly changing world.
Together we’ll consider what it means to be created in God’s image, why God designed us with rhythms and limits, and how the story of creation and the fall offers wisdom for navigating the opportunities and challenges of the digital age. Whether you’re wrestling with distraction, anxiety, technology’s influence, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of Scripture, this course will help you live more faithfully in today’s world.
Between the services on those Sundays the Young Children’s Wing will stay open, and we will offer special programming for K-5th graders where they will study the opening chapters of Genesis as well. Teens (6th-12th graders) are invited to join the class in Trinity Hall.
Registration is not required!
