The Advent season is here, which means it will soon be Christmas Eve and time for the Christmas Pageant. And this is the fun part – your child (2 years old through 5th grade) can help us tell the story of Jesus’ birth to our congregation! The pageant will take place at 3pm Christmas Eve in the church sanctuary. A rehearsal will be held Monday, December 23 from 10-11:30am.
The following roles are available for the children:
There are several special roles:
If your child would like to have a special role in the pageant, please indicate it on the sign-up form. If your child had a special role in the pageant last year, feel free to volunteer them; however, in fairness to all children, the role may be given to someone who did not have a special role last year should they request it.
There is also a place for parents to volunteer to help with the rehearsal and/or pageant. During the rehearsal, it will be necessary for parents of children ages 2-5 years to remain with your child during the rehearsal.
Middle school students will serve as Mary and Joseph.
