MORNING SERMON SERIES

Sunday Morning Services at 9am and 11am

Rooted and Growing

This Lent we are embarking on a capital campaign that will allow us to expand our church facility and create needed space for our growing community. As we step into this season, it is important that we pause to reflect on the heart of what we’re doing here and why it matters: Raising up followers of Christ rooted in the gospel and growing in grace.  But what does this look like in practice? The Christian life is a wholehearted response to the miracle of salvation.  Trusting in Jesus is a once-in-a-lifetime commitment, but also a daily decision. Over the next 6 weeks we will consider the core actions that characterize the life of a faithful follower of Jesus, providing us with a practical framework for being rooted in the gospel and growing in grace.  Come and discover what it means for us to: Turn, Train, Lay down, Find rest, Hold tight, and Hand on.

  • March 2 – Turn to Jesus.
  • March 9 – Train for godliness.
  • March 16 – Lay down your life.
  • March 23 – Find rest in worship.
  • March 30 –  Hold tight to others.
  • April 6 – Hand on the gospel.

EVENING SERMON SERIES

Sunday Night Church at 5:30pm

God’s Reminder Letter – 2 Peter

From time to time, we all need reminders. Over the next five weeks at Night Church, we’ll be exploring God’s Reminder Letter – the book of 2 Peter. This short but powerful letter, found at the end of the New Testament, was written to remind followers of Jesus of the truths they’ve learned and to encourage them to stand firm in those truths.

In a world filled with confusion, uncertainty, and false promises, 2 Peter calls us to steadfast endurance, deeper faith, and the hope of finishing well. Whether you’re seeking clarity in a chaotic world, a stronger foundation for your faith, or encouragement to persevere with hope, this series is for you.

Join us at Night Church as we dive into this timely and transformative letter. Together, we’ll discover how to live with purpose, grow in grace, and hold onto the promises of God.

  • March 2 – 2 Peter 1:1-11
  • March 9 – 2 Peter 1:12-21
  • March 16 – 2 Peter 2:1:-22
  • March 23 – Peter 3:1-13
  • March 30 – 2 Peter 3:11-18

RECENT SERMONS AND TALKS

Sermon: Who is this King

Scripture References: Mark 1:16-45

From Series: "Who Do You Say That I Am?"

The story of Jesus of Nazareth is one of the most impactful stories in human history. Regardless of one’s perspective, many believe that he is one of the most influential people to have ever lived, and that his life changed the course of history forever. Throughout the gospel of Mark, Jesus is portrayed not simply as a prophet, or a good teacher, or even a radical attempting to overthrow the Roman authorities – but as a long awaited King, able to deliver people from the brokenness of the world. Because of this historical importance and the claims Jesus makes about himself, at some point we all will have to answer the question at the heart of the gospel of Mark, “Who do you say that I am?” Join us at our Evening Service as we seek to revisit this all-important question. Come and hear from the earliest record of Jesus’s life and ministry, in the gospel of Mark a story, marked by mystery and majesty, brevity and brilliance, of a King who takes up his crown by laying down his life for those he loves.
