Paul’s letter to the Romans has been called “an open door to all the most profound treasures of Scripture.” In Romans, Paul gives a sweeping and deeply personal explanation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, inviting us to believe and be transformed by it. From the crushing weight of sin to the freedom of life in the Spirit, Paul speaks honestly about the human condition while pointing us to the redeeming work of Christ.
As we journey through Romans, we come to see ourselves more clearly, understand God’s grace more deeply, and discover the life we were created for.
Join us for this eight-week series as we explore the first five chapters of Romans and discover what it means to live as people who are called to belong to Christ.
What do we really know about the book of Judges? Stories of familiar figures like Deborah, Gideon, and Samson may bring back memories of childhood Bible lessons, but beneath these well-known stories lies a deeper and enduring message about who God is and how He responds to His people.
In this sermon series, we’ll look beyond the familiar heroes and failures of Judges to discover what this book reveals about the character of a faithful and patient God—one who continually forgives, rescues, and delivers His people by His grace. Judges holds up a mirror to the brokenness and patterns of our own lives. We may be skilled at wandering and making a mess of things, but God is faithful to rescue. Even in the darkest moments of Judges, we see a God whose grace is greater than our failures and whose faithfulness never gives up on His people.

Several weeks ago, we elected a new President. In January he will take up office, and several weeks after that we will begin the next election cycle! Every four years we do the same thing. Power is fleeting. Control is illusory. Those who hold elected office come and go. But the King never changes. Jesus sits astride the throne of heaven and, in his sovereign love, reigns over the earth. One day he will bring history to its ultimate goal: He will return in glory, judge the living and the dead, and establish his kingdom forever. We will be a part of that.
