Exodus: The Story of God

Everyone knows that Exodus tells the story of Moses, and how he saves the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt. Right? Not exactly. Of course, Moses has a major role to play.  So does Pharoah. But the central figure in the story of Exodus is God. It is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who calls Moses, who controls the action, changes people’s hearts, saves Israel, and reveals his character along the way. Join us in June and July as we listen to the story of God in Exodus and learn to let him shape our stories today.

  • June 2 – Exodus 1:1-2:10
  • June 9 – Exodus 2:23-3:15
  • June 16 – Exodus 5:1-6:1
  • June 23 – Exodus 7:1-24
  • June 30 – Exodus 12:1-14; 28-32
  • July 7 – Exodus 13:17-14:4
  • July 14 – Exodus 15:1-18
  • July 21 – Exodus 16:1-21

Sermon: The Ascension - A Much Ignored Glory

Scripture References: Acts 1:1-11

From Series: "Easter"

First Corinthians 15 contains the longest, sustained reflection on Jesus’s resurrection in the New Testament. In this chapter, Paul argues that the resurrection is at the center of everything. In it we find meaning, hope and sustaining grace. Without it everything is vain. Join us during the month of May as we explore 1 Corinthians 15 and the centrality of Jesus’ resurrection.
