MORNING WORSHIP SERVICES AT 9AM & 11AM

Wisdom for Friendship

MAY 4 – MAY 25

Good friendships are one of the greatest blessings in this life. They are sometimes even more meaningful than relationships with family. We know from experience that as iron sharpens iron so friends sharpen us personally and spiritually. Yet we live in a time that struggles deeply with loneliness and isolation. We long for meaningful relationships but we seem to lack the ability to find friends, forge friendships and then hold on to them for the long haul.

Join us on Sunday mornings during the month of May as we consider what the Bible has to say about the importance, value and wisdom of friendship.

NIGHT WORSHIP SERVICE AT 5:30PM

MAY 25: NO NIGHT CHURCH

RECENT SERMONS AND TALKS

Rev. Dr. John Yates III - April 8, 2020

Holy Week Daily Meditation

Why did Peter weep when the rooster crowed at dawn? Was it for Jesus, spat upon and bruised by the blows of soldiers? No. In the darkness of that awful morning, Peter wept for himself. As John reflects on Matt. 26:57−27:10, we see that Peter had to learn the hard way, and only then could he receive what Jesus was prepared to give.
