MORNING WORSHIP SERVICES AT 9AM & 11AM

APRIL 27: Confirmation Sunday with The Most Rev. Steve Wood

Wisdom for Friendship

MAY 4 – MAY 25

Good friendships are one of the greatest blessings in this life. They are sometimes even more meaningful than relationships with family. We know from experience that as iron sharpens iron so friends sharpen us personally and spiritually. Yet we live in a time that struggles deeply with loneliness and isolation. We long for meaningful relationships but we seem to lack the ability to find friends, forge friendships and then hold on to them for the long haul.

Join us on Sunday mornings during the month of May as we consider what the Bible has to say about the importance, value and wisdom of friendship.

NIGHT WORSHIP SERVICE AT 5:30PM

From Fear to Faith – Finding Hope in Habakkuk

APRIL 27 – MAY 11

In a world filled with chaos, injustice, and suffering, where do we turn when our prayers seem unheard? The prophet Habakkuk wrestled with this very question—crying out to God in lament, demanding answers, and ultimately learning what it means to live by faith.

As we listen to the oracle of Habakkuk we will discover a message that moves people from fear to faith, a message that allows us to honestly bring our pain before God while still holding onto hope. We’ll explore what it means for the righteous to live by faith when nothing makes sense, how to lament without despair, and why true trust in God doesn’t depend on circumstances or getting what we want.

Habakkuk is a book for the broken, the weary, and those who long for justice. It teaches us that even though God might not seem to hear us and our prayers go unanswered he is still trustworthy and better than all the gifts that may slip through our fingers

Join us as we discover how to move from fear to faith—even when God’s answers aren’t what we expect.

RECENT SERMONS AND TALKS

Rev. Tripp Gordon - June 16, 2024

Sermon: The Duel of the Fates

Scripture References: Exodus 5:1-23

From Series: "Exodus: The Story of God"

Everyone knows that Exodus tells the story of Moses, and how he saves the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt. Right? Not exactly. Of course, Moses has a major role to play. So does Pharaoh. But the central figure in the story of Exodus is God. It is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who calls Moses, who controls the action, changes people’s hearts, saves Israel, and reveals his character along the way. Join us in June and July as we listen to the story of God in Exodus and learn to let him shape our stories today.
