This year we’re getting into the Christmas spirit a little bit early! In the lead-up to the birth of Jesus, the opening chapters of the gospels tell us about visiting angels, Mary, Joseph, and John the Baptist. They’re familiar scenes, but do we know them as well as we think we do? Do we understand the story before the Christmas story that sets the stage and prepares the way for Jesus?
