The lyrics of these songs have provided some of the greatest comfort for God’s struggling people throughout the centuries. Join us as we lift our eyes to the Lord, our refuge, in all his greatness and discover the glorious certainties of his plan and purpose for his people.

Sermon: Why Church

From Series: "Why Church? God's Purpose for His People."

Life during the pandemic has raised lots of questions about the Church, such as, “Can we stay home, sip coffee, watch the Sunday service and call it “worship?” During this same season, a number of scandals have rocked the Church – from sexual misconduct to the abuse of power by clergy. What’s going on? Has the Church lost its way? Have we forgotten who we are or what it means to be God’s people? Perhaps the most important question we should ask is simply, “Why Church?” This fall we will explore who we are, why we’re here and how God wants us to live together.
