Sermon Series: Built Up and Sent Out

The book of Acts tells the story of the first Christians — built up in Jesus Christ and sent out by the Spirit. What begins as the eyewitness accounts of a few ordinary Jewish fisherman, launches into a movement that changed the world. Thousands of years later the book still compels us to ask: what gave them courage, purpose, and unity? What about their message changed the course of history? And ultimately, what relevance does this have for us today?

Join us this summer as we engage with the first nine chapters of Acts as we see how these chapters shape the foundational character of the Christian identity, as the church is both: built up and sent out.

  • JUNE 15 @ 5:30PM: Acts 2:42-47
  • JUNE 22: Acts 3-4
  • JUNE 29: Acts 4:32-5:16
  • JULY 6: Acts 5:17-42
  • JULY 13: Acts 6:1-7

How to Thrive in a Digital Age

From Series: "How to Thrive in a Digital Age"

If you are looking for a better way to balance the use of technology in your life, your family's or your teenager's – or in all three, then please listen in to leading author and thought leader Andy Crouch and his daughter Amy Crouch who help us reimagine how to thrive in a digital age. What Andy and Amy won’t tell us is to throw away our devices. They won’t offer us a list of rules. Instead, we will be challenged to think differently about technology with wisdom, thoughtfulness, and courage. This forum is sponsored by the Center for Public Christianity in partnership with Holy Trinity, Vintage, Christ the King and Providence churches.
