The Christian life is lived both in public and in private. We need quiet times of prayer and study. We will not grow as followers of Jesus if we aren’t seeking him on a daily basis. Make a priority of reading your Bible every day. Start a prayer journal. Pick up a book on the Christian life and study it. We hope you will visit this webpage on a regular basis and select new resources to help you grow in your faith. You can always call a member of staff for help. Set aside daily time for study and prayer, and lean in to personal growth.
We invite you to download our Prayer Guide to lead you in prayer. We’ve designed it for you to follow with five specific topics (Supplications). Each topic includes composed prayers (collects), bidding sentences (for extemporaneous prayer), and Scripture readings pertaining to each prayer topic for reflection and inspiration for further prayer. Our goal is to lift up in prayer before the Lord, as with one voice, these issues, which concern us all:
Christians know what Jesus Christ has done―but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is “gentle and lowly in heart.” This book reflects on these words, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who he is for sinners and sufferers today. Learn more.
If you are exploring Christianity and the claims of Jesus Christ, or simply trying to get perspective when your world has turned upside down, we’re glad you’re here. We hope you find these resources helpful. Please join us for one of our services. Or email us if you have any questions.
