For Adults
How God Changes Us.
An important work of the Holy Spirit involves the transformation of our character so that our naturally sinful nature becomes more and more like that of Jesus. But how does this transformation take place and what role can we play in it? We will use Paul Tripp’s book, How People Change, to answer those questions and to discover how the ups and downs of everyday life provide an opportunity for lasting change through the power of the Holy Spirit. Taught by Claudia Greggs in the Courtyard classroom.
Anglican Essentials: What does it mean to be Anglican?
If you’ve ever asked this question and been uncertain how to respond, then this course is for you! We will discuss Anglican history, worship and doctrine, leaving ample time for you to ask questions. This course is a requirement for all adults who wish to be confirmed in May. Led by John Yates and Sam Sholander in the Adult classroom.
For Students
What Does Eating Have to Do with the Story of God?
One of the unifying aspects of our humanity is that everyone eats. Since this has been true since the beginning of time, as 21st-century readers of Scripture, we shouldn’t be surprised to see food having a part to play during key moments in the story of God.
This five-week course will follow the bread crumbs of this theme and will focus on scenes in the Bible (such as in the garden, in the Levitical system, with Jesus, communion and the final banquet) where food gives us a unique window into better understanding God and his cosmic story. In the spirit of the class, donuts will be provided! Taught by Caleb Burr in the Student Ministry room.

They can save up their tickets for larger prizes or cash in each week for smaller prizes and candy. Location: Kids’ classrooms upstairs.
